It was recorded in Berlin in late 2010 with Peter Hofmann in the ballroom of Villa Elisabeth. We used a mic for the voice, a mic for the guitar and 2 ambient mics to capture the beautiful acoustics of the ballroom. There are no overdubs or splicing 300 vocal takes together to make a “perfect” song. The songs are single takes all the way through. All the reverb is courtesy of Villa Elisabeth. No artificial reverb and no bulltwang.
